Beach Gear helps parents plan, organize, and execute beach days effectively. When we take our baby out, it can definitely be an involved process. It’s like taking a mini version of home with us so no one is in the kind of need that off puts the entire trip.
With this in mind, we’ve compiled a list of baby gear we believe will make your beach day a more enjoyable one for all involved. Check out our 7 (seven) suggestions below.
Why it’s great: Keeping your baby’s beautiful dome cool from the heat is a must when it comes to going to the beach. These capable and minimalist swim hats have your baby covered, literally. It’s comfortable, floatable, and made with UPF 50+ for the ultimate sun protection.
This sun hat offers adjustability so that it always fits, especially as your baby’s head grows through each developmental stage. It also fits true to size. With a built-in neck flap/veil, your baby is even more protected from too much heat and sunburns, while the extended cap on the front guards their eyes. Keep in mind: Though there are many built-in features to prevent sunburn, always wear sunscreen.

Why it’s great: Having a beach blanket is a must for a day out in the sun and water, but having an extra-large blanket offers many benefits. Typical blankets can hold up to three (3) people, but up to eight (8) can fit on this one!
This quick-dry blanket is sand-proof, waterproof, heatproof, lightweight, machine washable, and durable. It’ll hold up with tables and chairs being used on it as well. It’s triple stitched for extra longevity, too.
With six (6) metal stakes, four (4) securing anchors, and four (4) corner pockets (simply stuff with sand or heavy objects), you’ll set up quickly without fear of your blanket flipping in the wind (with sand in tow!) or blowing away. After you’re done, just shake the sand off and store it in the attached compression pocket sack.
This extra-large blanket comes in blue, gray, purple, green, or white. It’s 100% nylon and weighs about one pound.
Keep in mind: This blanket measures 84 inches in width and length. You can choose a smaller size if you want – for up to three (3) people, five (5), or eight (8).

Why it’s great: Feeding our babies is typically at the forefront of the day-to-day. Feeding at the beach without sand and other variables getting in the way is necessary for a stress-free mealtime. Ciao! baby’s highchair is a great on-the-go option for many reasons.
This chair is lightweight, portable, and comes with a traveling bag that slips right over your shoulders. With a 5-point harness, you won’t need to worry about your little one squirming free while eating. At the same time, this highchair is comfortable and spacious. A built-in tray (and cup holder) made of vinyl makes it easy to clean up for those mealtime messes.
Its overall design is constructed with durability in mind and there’s no assembly required. It also meets the US American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and the EU European high chair safety standards. Keep in mind: Some parents found that once they put their child in the chair, the middle section for the tray dips somewhat. Be sure to use a silicon plate that will grip to the chair’s tray material. This will prevent too much dipping as a plate works as a stabilizer.
Good for: Children 3 months to 3 years old (10 to 35 pounds), travel (air included), and beach or outdoor activities.
Why it’s great: Maybe your baby isn’t ready to take on the entire ocean just yet, but that doesn’t mean they should miss out on a beach day. Bblüv’s gets this and thoughtfully designed this beach pool to meet your baby where they are (for now).

When in use, this wagon expands into 31.8 inches (length) x 21.5 inches (width) x 17 inches (height). No assembly is required as it unfolds itself in seconds due to the accordion-style frame and bed. Why it’s great: Having a private area for your little one can be quite convenient on the beach. With UPF 50+ sun protection, your baby can stay cool and sunburn-free in this little but spacious tent.
No assembly is required as its pop open design is automatic within seconds. It’s built to be open and closed thousands of times without giving out. Keep your baby cool with the mesh windows. Give them a private area for sleeping or playing with the curtain, which can be zipped open or closed. There’s also a mosquito net to keep bugs out as well.

Why it’s great: Does it feel like the sand comes and goes with every beach trip? Not a fan of it? Then you’ll need to upgrade your beach gear with not just any kind of mesh bag, but an extra-large one.

Beach gear can make any trip easier for you and your baby. A hat protects your baby from sunburns, a beach blanket gives plenty of room for everyone and your things, a high chair makes eating sand-free, a beach pool gives your baby a sense of comfort, a beach tent provides privacy, and a mesh bag and/or a beach wagon carries everything above and more!
Beach-made gear are typically waterproof and are built for travel. The materials may also be conscious of sand and water, such as a mesh. Many items also fold up compactly and come with a bag or carry case to make storage in your car or home easy and simple.
